I have been actively painting murals since 2017, a self-taught spray painter and artistic challenge taker, having painted in places such as Mexico, Colombia, Miami and Kansas City among some. While I am not on the road painting murals, I am in my studio in Denver CO, where I currently reside, working on paintings, jewelry, and a novel.

I’m Sasha Swan, a New Orleans artist. Painting is everything to me. I paint surreal, feminine images of people and animals that are influenced by my dreams and my love of history and myths. I paint different styles from realism, letters, cartoons and sign painting. My passion for spray paint as a medium has evolved into me creating large scale murals in New Orleans and cities across the US, Mexico and Colombia. I believe that narrative and representational public art encourages dialogue about important life questions, and that it has the power to reach people that aren’t necessarily looking for it.
